SOCIAL SCIENCE GAZETTEER ISSN: 0975-7511 Social Science Gazetteer (SSG) is the official peer reviewed (blind review) Journal of INDIAN SOCIAL SCIENCE ASSOCIATION (ISSA), Agra. Started in 2006, Social Science Gazetteer (SSG) fulfils a long cherished desire of the members of ISSA to have their own academic organ for professional expression. SSG is a bi-annual journal and is published twice a year: January - June and July - December. It is a peer reviewed / blind review journal and includes invited papers, important papers presented in ISSA conferences and contests and other contributions from members, scholars, subscribers and the public. It also includes Book Reviews, Professional Notes, Comments and Counter-comments, articles on social science by senior social scientists, Profiles of eminent social scientists etc. The journal was started with the initiative of Prof. Rajeshwar Prasad, past President of ISSA and Dr Richard Pais, Life Trustee ISSA and former Managing Editor of SSG.
